Meet The Team

James Jackson – Interim CEO (ex Vice Chairman of CVP Board)

MA Urban Design, PGDipLA, Bsc (Hons), FGS, AIEMA, LMLI, AoU, Registered Practioner of the Urban Design Group, CGeog, FRGS
James is an Urban Designer, Landscape Architect and Environmental Geoscientist with over 17 years practical experience in a diverse range of projects in regeneration, urban renewal, and landscape architecture. He has worked throughout the UK for the public, private and charitable sectors and has a high professional standing within these sectors. He is a regional Chairman for IEMA and is on the national judges’ association panel for the Green Flag Awards as the regional representative for the SW of England. James is also a regional trustee for a multinational engineering consultancy and is responsible for implementing and distributing both national and international grants to worthy charitable activities.

Heather Rabett –Senior Community Development Officer

Heather has worked at CVP for two and a half years and leads on our anti-poverty, social enterprise and strategic partnership work. Her early career was in catering and hospitality. Primarily since then, she has been working locally across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire in community focussed roles which have included social housing, services for children and families and community development. Heather has worked at various levels of seniority and is an experienced manager. Her community development work in particular has enabled her to work with a wide range of people. She has supported local residents and volunteers to make positive changes within their communities through social action, and has coordinated and facilitated partnership work in order to help strengthen local services and ensure community needs are met.

Jane Culley – Senior Community Development Officer

Jane has over 25 years’ experience of working in the Private, Public and Charitable sectors, working at grass roots, supervisory and management levels. She has significant community engagement, financial, partnership and auditing experience and is pleased to be able to bring these skills to CVP. Jane is the strategic Health and Social Care lead and chairs a forum which brings together organisations, groups and agencies to promote health and well-being, to network, to share good practice and to encourage collaborative working. Jane also leads on a Council commissioned project which engages with vulnerable families or with those experiencing social isolation. She engages with and provides advice and support to community groups throughout the Bolsover District.

Elsa MacPherson – Training and Volunteering Coordinator for the New Bolsover Model Village Regeneration Project and the Eats and Treats Project Coordinator

Elsa works on the New Bolsover Model Village Regeneration Project and supports local people to access training and to volunteer with the project.  She is based at 133 New Bolsover Community House, S44 6PZ, for two days per week.  Elsa also plans and coordinates Eats and Treats events throughout the Bolsover District. She works with statutory and voluntary and community organisations in order to help local people access their services. Anastasia Kelly- Office Manager

Anastasia is the Office Manager for CVP and is based at CVP’s main office. Anastasia works 2 days a week and can be contacted via email at anastasia@bolsovercvp.org.uk

Jess Holmes – Community Organiser

Jess is a Community Organiser for CVP, she currently works in New Bolsover with the New Bolsover Model Village Regeneration Project, Carr Vale and Castle Estate. Jess can be contacted on 07791372095 or via email at jess@bolsovercvp.org.uk

Sam Doyle– Admin Support

Sam is the admin support for the organisation and is based at the main office. Her role includes composing the CVP E-newsletter, answering enquiries and other general admin.
